Remove Google Redirect Virus - Easy Fix

Google redirect
virus
is a special kind of virus. It becomes active whenever you do
a search on Google and alters the search results. Instead of displaying
real search results you are fooled by displaying solely advertisement
and affiliate links. Your computer gets infected
by visiting an infected site. A trojan downloads in the background
secretly. It usually executes whenever you open your browser. One mutation of the Google redirect virus
will not only change search results, you will also notice pop-ups
showing up on your computer screen displaying ads. If your
computer got infected with the Google redirect virus, do not panic.
There are ways to fix Google redirect virus in some simple steps and
also protect your PC from future attacks.

The first step to fix
Google redirect virus
is to open the “System32” folder found in the
Windows folder located at the local drive or the drive C. So you found the System 32 folder? Great.
Now look for "regedit.exe" and click on it. Rename "regedit.exe" to something you
can remember. After that disable it.
Why? Because this is the place where the Google redirect virus executes
from.The next step is to
download the anti-malware software and run it in their system. It is important
that you install the best type of anti-malware software so that you can
get rid of all types of infections that the system has. Another
important note: make sure the website you are downloading anti
malware  from is secure and reputable. You do not want to end up
infecting your computer with even more viruses, do you? You might not believe it, but the number
of so called anti malware software that is actually infecting your PC
with even more adware, malware, and spyware is growing drastically. So
be careful. Once you have donwloaded a
reputable anti malware software make sure to scan ALL files and folders
on your harddrive to make sure all viruses and othe rmalicious code
gets found.

You should then head back to the “System32” folder and change the name
of the folder back to the original (regedit). Once this is done, on the start menu,  click on
run and then type in regedit so as to be taken to the Registry Editor
window. Look for
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Once you found it, choose "software". Ok, you are almost there.... now select
"Microsoft", "Windows" and then "Current Version" and finally "run"
On the right hand window that appears you should select the executable
file “RegSVR32=%system%msmsgs.exe” and delete it by right clicking on
it and selecting delete.

It is extremely important to double or even triple
check that you are deleting the right file. If you delete another file
you might delete an important registry file which may result in having
to install the whole operating system again. In oder to complete the
process, you will have to reboot your PC.

Well... that's it. href="http://www.redirectvirusremoval.net">Google redirect virus
should be gone. Open your webbrowser, go
to Google and start a search. Your Google
search results should now take you to real websites and not to fake
affiliate sites. The last step is to update your antivirus software
to make sure that your computer does not get infected again.
